How to insert a window into SiteMaster.

Step 1: Select Window.

Step 2: In the floor plan, select the wall corner from which you measure the window.

Step 3: Measure the values with the laser in order and transfer the respective measured value from the laser to the corresponding input field with the Bluetooth key after each measurement. After each transfer, the next field is active.

Step 4:

1. Measure the Distance d1 from the outer edge window niche to the wall corner.

2. Measure the Opening width, clear inside dimension of the window niche.

3. Measure the Opening height, upper edge window sill to lower edge window lintel.

4. Measure the Sill height, lower edge of the window sill to floor.

5. Measure the Reveal depth, front edge of the niche to window frame.

6. OPTIONAL: Measure the Bottom edge of the window sash to the floor. The profile widening (distance outer edge of the window sill to outer edge of the window sash) is then calculated automatically.

7. Select the display of the window sashes. To do this, click on ^ to the right of the Custom text. Select the appropriate text for your selection.

8. Custom: Here you can store user-specific settings and measured values under Window sash.

Single overall: A single-sash window is displayed in the wall view.

Two equal vertical: A symmetrical double-sash window is displayed in the wall view. Three equal vertical: A symmetrical three-sash window is displayed in the wall view.

9. Select the stop side of the window. To do this, click ^ to the right of the None text. Select the appropriate text for your selection.

OPTIONALLY you can measure more values under Details, Sash and Sill, if not add with step 7 this window.

Swipe from the bottom to the top of the dialog box with your finger or a stylus until you see Detail, Casement or Sill. Click the double arrow to the left of the text, if necessary swipe the view up again until you see the open input field.

Step 5: Activate Details.

Here you can optionally measure the following values:
Frame - Bottom edge, window sill to floor.
Window aperture depth, open window to wall.
Clear inner width, clear inside dimension of window opening.
Wall sill, top edge of the window niche to the floor.

Step 6: Activate Casements.

Here you can enter further details for one or more window casements:
Casement count: Use the Plus key to set the number of window casements and with the minus key you reduce the number again
Casement navigation: Use the right or left arrow to select the casement you are about to measure. If you have more than one casement, you must also measure each casement separately accordingly.
Casement width: Measure the casement width incl. stop tape.

Casement height: Measure the casement height.
Lower edge: This value is automatically taken from the previously measured lower edge of the window casement.

Hinge distance: Measure the space between the stop and the window recess wall.

Step 7: Activate Sill.

Here you can optionally measure the following values:
Thickness: Window sill thickness
Protrusion Left: Only the overhang to the left of the window niche.
Right: Only the overhang to the right of the window niche.
Front: only the overhang in the room.

Step 8: Insert the measured window into your floor plan with the Blue check mark in the upper right corner.

Step 9: Exit command window measure with the white Cross at the top right.
