BOM Settings
BOM settings feature for Mechanical Drawings and keep compatibility with other applications that support the same format. Users can access this dialog box of BOM Settings via the Part Reference dialog box.
The BOM settings is a feature for Mechanical Drawings compatible with other applications that support the same format. Users can access the BOM Settings with the command AM_BOMSETTINGS.
The BOM settings allow users to set the properties of the Bill of Material, Part Lists and Balloons.
The following operations are covered by BOM Settings dialog:
Displays all available component properties and allows their configuration (e.g., formulas)
Set the component properties that are visible for part references and part lists.
Synchronizes the component properties list with the available component properties list.
Add additional, pre-defined component properties to the available component properties list.
Add a new component property to the available component properties list, and delete specific component property from the list.
The following operations are possible in the Component Properties tab:
Displays the component properties that are visible in the Part Reference dialog box.
Synchronizes the component properties list with the available component properties list.
Users can select from a list of additional pre-defined component properties to add to the Available component properties list.
Add a new component property to the available component properties list, and delete specific component property from the list.
In the BOM tab:
Displays the component properties that are visible in the BOM dialog box
Sets how BOM items are displayed by default - Expanded or structured with separator
In the Parts List tab:
Displays the component properties that are visible in Parts Lists, by default enables customization of settings applicable to standard-based parts list.
In the Balloon tab:
Displays different categories of references or functions that are used in the expression for balloon text, also update the default style of the Balloon.

AMLAYVISENH new command
This dialog specifies how objects on inactive layer groups appear in the drawing area for that drawing session. It can be displayed using the AMLAYVISENH command.
The following operations are covered by the Layer Visibility Enhancement dialog:
Turns off visibility enhancements for the drawing session.
Colors objects on inactive layer groups to the color shown in the adjacent drop-down list.
Locks inactive layer groups and changes the color of objects on them to the color shown in the adjacent drop-down list.
Locks inactive layer groups that prevent modification of the objects on them.
Freezes inactive layer groups so that the objects on inactive layers are no longer visible.
Colors objects on locked or inactive layer groups to the color shown in the adjacent drop-down list.
Dark-Style dialogs boxes:
All dialog boxes support the dark-style interface.
Screw Connection:
"Insert part reference" was not disabled when edit screw connection created "as block".
Cannot create screw connection exploded if "Insert Part Reference" is unchecked.
The drop down list for nuts was too small and user cannot read the name of the nut.
Part Reference:
Values were not saved in the Part Reference dialog.
Part reference was not associated with block.
Part List:
"Error" when try to split part list.
In Korean, Zoom To/Highlight, "Next Item" option did not work and showed an "Invalid optional keyword" error.
Split Row, User should select Next/Accept option(s) for traverse the selected part references.
BOM:
Part list was not shown on GA when create it from BOM dialog.
Part references in external referenced drawing (XRef) and Block were not recognized.
Frame:
In sheet area could not insert frame if change selected standard on command dialog box with another one.
Clipboard Copy:
Copy fails with message "Cannot copy entities to clipboard" when selection set has part list / balloon.
Balloon:
"Balloons" were lost if ESC command when asking for "Orientation".
Scale:
AMSYMSCALE and CANNOSCALE system variables were not correlated.
Symbol scale changes to 1 after edit (AMSYMSCALE was not respected after edit symbol).
Toolbox:
Toolbox block was not generated in active XY plane (custom coordinate system) if it is not parallel with XY plane of WCS.
"reference Point" option to insert a toolbox block was a broken feature.
Application stability improvements: On this release many areas was improved to avoid unexpected behaviors that lead on close the application, below a summary:
