New Features & Enhancements:

  • A3/ ARES AI ASSIST :

    • A3 - Your personal AI Assistant in ARES Kudo

      What can Artificial Intelligence to for CAD users? Graebert's new A3 artificial intelligence (aka "ARES AI Assit" is designed to be your personal CAD assistant. Specifically trained on ARES Kudo, A3 is like a CAD expert on steroids.

  • CheckSave API Integration (Part 1): Initial implementation to improve file session stability.

  • Formulas in Table:

    • Change cell data types.

    • Add formulas to the contextual menu for ease of access and improved user interaction.


Improvements:

  • EXPORTDRAWING:

    • The file path text size has been increased, and a border has been added for better visibility.

    • Tooltip support for displaying long file paths.

  • UI Enhancements:

    • Updated the cancel button color in modal dialogs.

    • Aligned text for unavailable view-only links.


Crash Reports:

  • Several critical crashes were addressed, such as:

    • Workflow crashes related to file sessions and editing tools.

    • Table utilities crash during operations.


Bug Fixes:

  • Dropdown and UI Issues:

    • Dropdown menus and options not collapsing properly in drafting styles and active windows.

    • Fixes for selected entities not being highlighted and cursor colors not reverting when needed.

  • Crashes and Stability:

    • Fixed numerous crashes during specific operations, such as using DWF files, table formulas, block insertions, and exporting drawings.

    • Mentioning users in comments and markups no longer causes crashes.

  • Font and External File Issues:

    • Corrected misaligned text and buttons for font dialogs.

    • Fixed crashes in the font substitution dialog.

    • Improved handling of external references, which now provide proper user indications when loading.

  • Contextual Menu Issues:

    • Fixed issues with multiple block options appearing in the contextual menu.

    • Resolved problems with formulas not being displayed or updated properly when using the contextual menu.

  • Permissions and Recent Files:

    • Fixed permissions and file-sharing issues across platforms like Box, WebDAV, and Onshape.

    • Corrected missing email notifications for shared changes and comments.


Regressions:

  • Numerous regressions have been resolved, including:

    • Formulas in Table: Fixed formula visibility and data type issues.

    • Block Insertions: Preview and update issues when inserting blocks have been corrected.

    • WebDAV and Cloud Storage: Resolved disconnects and delays when accessing cloud storage and file-saving conflicts.

    • UI Issues: Fixed unresponsive palettes, disappearing file lists, and missing permissions fields in dialogs.


This release aims to bring greater stability, especially with API integration for session handling, improved formula management in tables, and significant bug fixes to enhance the overall user experience.
