Set the G-Electrical Database.

You can share the components, settings, and pages with other users through the MDB and SQL database. MDB, SQL, Database, Installation, connection with database, connection.

Share MDB database…

  1. Put the “dados” and “qccfg” folders in a shared location (network), where the computers have access;

  2. Put the address of this folders through G-Electrical Ribbon > GE Manage >Connection with Database… ;

  3. On the Database connection settings, select MDB on the Type field;

  4. In the address, put the mapped location, where the “dados” and “qccfg” folders are located;

  5. Click ok and restart the program;

Share SQL database…

For a SQL database connection type, it is necessary an available server with the SQL Tables, in other words, with the database. To get to know this better, check out the articles about the SQL database.

  1. Put the “dados” and “qccfg” folders in a shared location (network), where the computers have access.

  2. Put the address of this folders through G-Electrical Ribbon > GE Manage >Connection with Database…;

  3. On the Database Type field, select SQLSERVER;

  4. On the address, put the mapped location, where the “dados” and “qccfg” folders are located;

  5. Fill the SQL Server information:

    • Server name;

    • Database name;

    • User;

    • Password.

  6. Click OK and restart the program.
