ARES Kudo requires that your files are stored in the cloud or can be uploaded, that ARES Kudo is connected to this cloud storage and that you have access to these files. Therefore there are very few cases in which ARES Kudo cannot be used. That would be for example, if the file is on a hard disk in the office and no one has access to email it to you or upload to the cloud.
