Getting Permission for Your License Online
This topic describes how to activate a license from a trial or demo version.
You must have
purchased an Annual Plan, Three Years Plan, or Perpetual License and received a Permission Key
created a Graebert Account to activate licenses.
You get permissions for your license as follows:
From within the software – by using the Licensing dialog box.
Outside the software – by using an Internet browser on any device to log into your Graebert Account.
To get permissions for your license without registering:
Note: You can activate your purchased license using your permission key without logging into your Graebert Account.
Start the ARES Commander trial or demo version.
If you disabled showing the Licensing dialog box when using the trial version previously, click the arrow next to in the title bar and select Start Page from the drop-down list.
In the first dialog box, select Activate Permission Key.
Next, select Alternative Activation Methods.
Click Incognito Activation.
Copy the Permission Key you received when you purchased the license of the software product.
Click Activate.
To get permissions for your license from ARES Commander:
Start the ARES Commander trial version.
If you disabled showing the Licensing dialog box when using the trial version previously, click the arrow next to in the title bar and select Start Page from the drop-down list.
Click Activate Permission Key and click Next.
Click I already have a Graebert Account.Note: If you do not have a Graebert account, click Sign up for free Graebert account.
On the Customer Portal web page:Type the e-mail address you use for your Graebert Account and click Next.In Password, type your password.Note: Use the same credentials as those when you created your Graebert Account.
Click Specify Permission Key.
Next, do the following:Copy the Permission Key you received when you purchased the license of the software product.Click Validate Permission Key.Once you have activated your Permission Key, you can start using the software.
To get permission for your license online:
In an Internet browser on your device, type customer-portal.graebert.com/.
To login to the Customer Portal, :Type the e-mail address you use for your Graebert Account and click Next.In Password, type your password.
Click Login.
On the Dashboard, click Products > My Products.
In Insert Permission Key, copy the Permission Key you received when you purchased the license of the software product.
Click Validate Permission Key.
Click Add product to my list.The name of the software product appears under My Products, for example, ARES Commander.
(Optional) Click the product name stripe or the arrow next to the product name to expand product information.The information includes product version, expiration date of the license, type of the license, and Permission Key.
Click Logout to exit the Customer Portal.
