Error Message "Permission Key already assigned to other account."

When an user purchases a Graebert product it is provided with a Permission Key, that must be registered under their user account in the Graebert Customer Portal ( https://login.graebert.com/ ) in order to use the product.

This Permission Key can only be activated once.

If an User tries to activate the Permission Key a second time, he will receive the message "Permission Key already assigned to other account." (i.e. his account).

This scenario usually occurs when an user wants to activate/use the product in a second/different device. Please keep in mind that we allow the activation/use of the software in two devices, and once you register the Permission Key under your account in the Graebert Customer Portal, in order to use the software, you only need to Login to your account in the application's Start Page.

In a different scenario, if you have previously activated two devices, and want to use the software in a third device, you only need to Logout from your account in the application's Start Page in order to release the License and later activation of a different device.

If you lost access to a device (e.g. due to hardware failure), you can still release the License by

  • Login to your account in the Graebert Customer Portal (https://login.graebert.com/)

  • Go to "Devices", Expand the node corresponding to the device, and click "Unbind".

NOTE: The exception to the process above, it's when the Offline Activation process was used. As mentioned during the process, this process "reserves" the license for use in one device and is irreversible. For more information about the Offline Activation process, please see the following article in the Graebert HelpCenter:
