ARES Kudo v1.212 introduces the new AREANOTE command, along with enhanced AI capabilities such as AI-driven text tools and AI-assisted block generation, as well as improvements to search, object selection dialogs, and domain-based redirects.

The release also delivers several UI and usability enhancements, including updates to the Block Library and save workflows. A strong focus has been placed on improving overall stability, rendering performance, and fixing key issues across the application, making this update a solid combination of new functionality, refined user experience, and important reliability improvements.

🚀 New Features

AREANOTE command in ARES Kudo
AREANOTE is an annotation tool designed to help users quickly calculate areas and represent them visually within their drawings.
After selecting a region—either by clicking inside it or by defining its boundary—the command automatically:
- Computes the area (in drawing units)
- Creates a colored fill for easy visual identification (with optional transparency)
- Adds a label showing the measured area and/or a custom description
The new Area Note makes it easy to calculate and represent areas with colors, even for users with little expertise in CAD. The same feature is available online in ARES Kudo, on the desktop in ARES Commander, and in ARES Touch for use on smartphones and tablets.
For professionals who are frequently out of the office, ARES Kudo is your best companion to visualize and edit drawings directly in a web browser. Whether reviewing a site plan at a coffee shop or verifying room dimensions while visiting a customer, ARES Kudo allows real-time interaction with drawings created by your team.
AI assisted block generation in the Trinity Block Library
Creating CAD symbols in ARES Commander and ARES Kudo is now much easier with a new tool that generates precise CAD components directly from simple text descriptions.
With the AI-Assisted Block Generation tool, you can describe what you need—such as a door swing, a power outlet, or a table—and the system will generate an accurate, standards-aligned symbol. Users can quickly generate, adjust, and reuse high-quality symbols tailored to their specific project requirements, boosting productivity without compromising precision.
This significantly reduces repetitive drafting work and improves consistency across projects—no more starting from scratch or searching through libraries.

AI driven Text Tools
ARES Kudo is catching up with the AI-driven text enhancement tools previously introduced in ARES Commander. The MText editor in ARES Kudo has been expanded with AI-powered capabilities to translate, refine writing, check spelling, and summarize text.
These tools include Translate, Refine Writing, Quick Correction, Smart Description, and Generate Summary, helping users convert text between languages, improve clarity, correct grammar, generate descriptive content, and summarize information.
AI Text Support is also available for Note and SimpleNote entities. It activates when text is present and allows users to regenerate, replace, or insert AI-generated results based on their workflow needs.
