ARES Electrical removes the previous 10-point limit on connection points defined in a component's schematic representation. You can now add as many connection points as your component needs.
This is especially useful for PLC modules and other multi-terminal devices, where every pin benefits from fast wire drawing — the ability to draw wires directly from a connection point — just like a simple two-terminal contactor coil.
How It Works
Open the component in the Block Editor.
Go to the Connection Points panel and use Add Connection Point to define as many points as needed — there's no longer a 10-point cap.
Every connection point you add gains fast wire drawing automatically, the same as before.
Use Remove Connection Point to delete any point you no longer need.
This update also improves consistency with the electrical block editing experience overall: the Block Editor for electrical entities (wires, components, controls, and page blocks) now matches the same interface used for standard ARES blocks, including a contextual ribbon.
