Build No. 25.0.1.1238 (SP0) - Released 15/04/2024

  • Main enhancements:

    • All-in-one product - Uncover the potential of ARES Electrical, focusing on automating 2D electrical schematics in DWG format. Experience simplicity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness with our all-in-one application. Streamline your workflows, enhance collaboration, and boost productivity with integrated tools tailored to your needs in one single product.

    • Trinity features - Trinity integrates three CAD engines in one platform, providing flexibility and compatibility across various workflows. Trinity facilitates collaboration and data management through cloud connectivity, enabling users to access their CAD files from anywhere and share them with team members or clients. Trinity includes collaboration tools to facilitate communication and teamwork among project stakeholders. This may include markup tools for reviewing designs, version control features, and project-sharing capabilities.
By combining these features, Trinity aims to provide a comprehensive CAD solution suitable for a wide range of industries and workflows, from architecture and engineering to GIS and beyond.

    • Flex Cloud License - A Flex License provides the ability to share it with multiple users in several locations but as the licenses are in the cloud, unlike with a "traditional" Flex Network licenses the users no longer have to be in the same local network, but can be anywhere: in home office, out of the office or even in different countries...

Flex Cloud licenses can be shared between concurrent users or computers to reduce the number of licenses and costs.

    • Performance Improvements - After improvements, the OPEN FILE operation on ARES 2025 is, on average, 40% faster than previous versions, as confirmed by our test cases. Also, an important improvement has been achieved in the ZOOM command, which is, on average, 22% faster than before. Because the ZOOM command can run hundreds of times a day during regular use, even a small improvement can represent a substantial amount of time saved in a workday.
It’s worth noting that both software and hardware settings directly impact application performance. For detailed information, please refer to the Minimum and Recommended System Requirements on the Graebert website. The testing environment incorporated these hardware profiles to encompass a variety of drawing scenarios.

  • Electrical Features:

    • Components Library - The component library in ARES Electrical is a database of pre-made electrical symbols and parts that users can easily access and incorporate into their designs. This feature simplifies the design process by providing a comprehensive collection of commonly used components, saving time and ensuring consistency in designs.

    • Wire Numbering - The wire numbering tool in ARES Electrical automatically assigns unique identifiers to wires in a design, streamlining the organization and documentation of electrical circuits.

    • Pages Management - The page management feature in ARES Electrical allows users to organize, number, and group pages within their electrical design projects efficiently, facilitating easy navigation and documentation.

    • Page Groups Wizard - The ARES Electrical Page Group Wizard enables users to create custom configurations for various page types, including title block pages for schematics, layouts, covers, indexes, and reports, streamlining project setup and organization.

    • Component Wizard - The Component Wizard in ARES Electrical facilitates the creation of custom electrical components with predefined attributes, accelerating the design process and ensuring consistency.

    • Tagging - automatically updates project component tags, ensuring consistency and accuracy across the design.

    • Smart PDF Export - The Smart PDF export feature in ARES Electrical retains page information and incorporates interactive links for components, cross-references, pages, and wire numbers, enhancing usability and navigation within the exported PDF file.

    • Wire Routing - The Wire Routing feature in ARES Electrical generates organized documentation of wire routes in the Mechanical Layout drawings, facilitating clear communication and implementation during electrical assembly processes.

    • Dictionary - The dictionary feature in ARES Electrical provides a centralized repository of electrical terms and definitions, aiding users in understanding, localizing, and applying industry-specific terminology within their designs.

    • Reports - The Reports feature in ARES Electrical allows users to generate various types of documentation, including wire lists, cable reports, bills of materials, label lists, terminal strip drawings, from-to lists, and topographical diagrams. These reports can be exported in formats such as TXT, XLS, and CSV, facilitating easy sharing and integration with external tools and systems.

    • Electrical Enclosure Layout - The Mechanical Layout environment in ARES Electrical enables users to place physical part representations, route wires, and input mechanical details, streamlining the assembly process and ensuring accurate integration of electrical components into the electrical enclosure designs.
