When you have a permission key of ARES Commander 2019 (or later) of a Annual or Perpetual license, please first login to the customer portal:

and add your permission key under Products here. Start ARES Commander 2019 on your computer and login via the startup dialog with your credentials. Your active license is shown at the top of the startup dialog.
