Note: This article/document is superseded. It can still be used as reference for the process, although it doesn't cover all functionality available in the new FNLM - ARES Flex Network License Manager 2024.

The ARES Flex Network License Manager 2024 is required to be used for all license activated after March 2023.

ARES Commander NLM FLEX License Installation and Configuration Guide

The aim of this guide is to provide help/reference to users installing the Network License Manager (NLM) and ARES® Commander in multiple workstations.

Note that the product activation requires information that you will receive from different sources.

Do note as well that links or access paths provided in this document may change in the future: If this is the case, please refer to an updated version of this document or to

correspondent support information.

Before starting the installation process, make sure that you have all the information required, and that your System meets or exceeds the Minimum System Requirements by the software: if in doubt, consult with your LAN Manager/IT Department (if/when applicable).

Make sure as well that you have the required permissions to install the software: We

recommend that the installation is performed under the Administrator account.
