The AM_POWERDIMENSION command provides an advanced and efficient way to create precise dimensions with intelligent placement and alignment. This tool streamlines the dimensioning process by automatically selecting the appropriate dimension type based on the selected geometry, ensuring consistency and accuracy in technical drawings.
Automatically determines the best dimension type for selected objects.
Supports linear, radial, and angular dimensions.
Maintains alignment and spacing for a cleaner, more readable layout.
Enhances productivity by reducing manual adjustments and rework.
DIMSCALE is relevant to the Detail View scale, ensuring correct dimensioning for the Detail View.
Power Dimensioning Ribbon Contextual Tab Enhancements:
The Power Dimensioning Ribbon Contextual Tab enhances the dimensioning workflow by providing quick access to essential tools for modifying and refining dimensions.
Reuse Panel: Provides tools to apply predefined dimension text, copy properties from existing dimensions, and export dimension settings to other dimensions.
Dimension Text Panel: Controls dimension text visibility, precision, formatting, scaling, and rounding for primary and alternate units.
Edit Panel: Displays the Note Formatting Pop-up Toolbar, allowing users to edit the selected dimension.
REVISION TABLE:
Block elements in the revision table, revision, and revision symbol are now correctly created on Layer 0 instead of the active layer.
BOM:
The "Standard" value now appears correctly in the BOM for screw connection components.
The quantity of part references within blocks remains intact after entering and exiting the Block Editor.
HARDWARE:
The "Exclude from part list" option is no longer selected by default when editing parts without Part References.
TOLERANCE:
Performance has been improved when changing the primary or alternate precision for a large number of dimensions.
The Tolerance option is now correctly enabled when selecting a dimension with an existing tolerance.
SIMPLEWELD:
The command now displays a clear error message when the specified start and end points result in a zero-length welding line.
NESTING MANAGER:
The application no longer crashes when specifying a plate size with more than 10 digits.
INSERT BALLOON:
Part references within a copied block are now correctly recognized when inserting a balloon.
CRASH:
The application no longer crashes during autosave after repeatedly copying mechanical entities to the clipboard.
The application no longer crashes when performing ROTATE, COPY, SCALE, or MOVE commands on specific mechanical entities.
If you are facing issues that are crashing the application, please use the Crash Report tool to let us know about it, writing in the comments the steps to reproduce the problem.
