ARES Electrical offers several options to support integration with ERP systems, enabling better workflow and data consistency between electrical design and production or purchasing processes.

1. Automatic Generation of Structured Reports

ARES Electrical automatically generates several key reports directly from the project data, including:

  • Bills of Materials (BOMs)

  • Wire lists

  • From-To connection lists

  • Terminal strip tables

  • Cable summaries

These reports can be exported in structured formats such as:

  • CSV

  • TXT

  • XLS (Excel)

This allows direct import or parsing into most ERP systems that support external data ingestion.

2. Standardized and Customizable Attributes

All component and wire data is stored using structured attributes in the DWG file. These attributes can be customized to match the fields used by your ERP system — such as:

  • Part Number

  • Manufacturer

  • Supplier

  • Quantity

  • Project ID

  • Cost Center, etc.

You can also create custom reports using only the fields required for ERP input.

3. API-Based Integration (Roadmap / Custom Projects)

While ARES Electrical doesn't currently have a direct API for ERP integration, enterprise customers can implement a middleware or use export scripts to push data from ARES-generated reports to ERP platforms.
This allows:

  • Synchronization of BOMs with ERP purchasing modules

  • Automatic creation of material requests

  • Linking of project IDs with internal work orders
