In ARES Electrical 2027 SP0, the mouse gesture functionality has been aligned with the native gesture system used in ARES Commander.

With this change, the default ARES gesture menu is now used directly within ARES Electrical, providing a more consistent and unified interaction experience across Graebert products.

The gesture menu can be configured with four or eight commands, and users can fully customize the available actions by assigning any supported command through the Mouse Gestures settings located in the Manage tab.

Settings

Users can configure the gesture menu by navigating to:

Manage Tab → Customization → Mouse Gestures

From there, it is possible to:

  • Choose between 4 or 8 gesture commands

  • Assign custom commands to each gesture direction

  • Adapt the gesture menu to match individual workflows
