In ARES Electrical 2027 SP0, the wire marker generation workflow has been improved with a new option based on connection count.
This enhancement allows wire markers to be generated according to the number of connection points associated with a wire, instead of relying on the number of wire segments. As a result, wire lists and manufacturing documentation can now represent wiring quantities more accurately.
New Connection Count Property
To address this limitation, ARES Electrical now introduces a new property called CONNECTION_COUNT.
This property automatically stores the number of terminals connected to each wire within the project. Instead of evaluating individual segments, the system now evaluates the actual electrical connection points associated with the wire.

Wire list templates
Export configurations
By referencing this value, reports and outputs reflect the real number of wire connections in the electrical design.
