ARES Electrical upgrades wire addressing from a purely visual cross-reference into an active logical connection. Wires linked via addressing — manual or automatic — are now treated as part of the same electrical connection, the same way derived wires already are.
This means that when you number your wires, an addressed wire and its counterpart will always end up with the same number.
How It Works
Create a wire address as usual — manually or automatically — between two wires that represent the same electrical continuation.
Run Numbering... or Numbering by selection... as you normally would.
The number assigned to one side of the address is automatically applied to its addressed counterpart, wherever it is in the project.
Addressed wires now follow the same naming rules as derived wires, since they share the same electrical identity.
This keeps addressed wires consistent across pages automatically, removing the need to manually check or correct numbering after the fact.
