Security software like Antivirus software can impact the performance of any software package, limit/block specific features (under specific configurations/setups) or even that the program is executed at all.

Due to the large offer/number of products available and different security levels required in different environments, we are unable to provide a solution applicable to all cases, and would recommend that you consult the (security) product documentation on the topic of exclusions or exceptions, in order to add ARES Commander to the product's exclusion / exceptions.

Saying this, most products use as principle to create the exceptions per product, but if required to create exceptions to specific System locations (file paths), below are the file paths/locations used by ARES Commander, that you may want to exclude in the Antivirus settings:
