If you need to move the laser to a different position during a survey (e.g. due to line-of-sight obstructions or in L-shaped/complex rooms), this function allows you to change the laser’s station without losing any of your existing layout data.
Step 1: Select "New Station"
Select New Station in the menu. Once selected, simply move the laser to its new position in the room.
⚠️ After each repositioning of the laser, ensure that it is placed on a firm, stable surface and properly leveled. When leveling the device, ensure the bubble on the spirit level is centered to guarantee maximum measurement accuracy.
Step 2: Establish Laser Station Height
Aim the laser at the floor and measure one point.
(💡If possible, aim at the same point as before)
Step 3: Measure Reference Walls
The software will then prompt you to measure two points on two different walls.
Choose two adjacent (corner) walls which are the most convenient and easiest to measure from the new station location. Do not use two parallel (or opposite) walls.
Select the first wall and measure two points on it—one on the left side and one on the right side.
Whenever possible, try to aim at approximately the same reference points as your first measurement.
E.g.
Then repeat the process on the second wall going clockwise.

Step 4: Complete the Relocation
The software will now display where the laser station has moved- click OK ✅ to confirm.
