Follow these steps to measure a sloped ceiling using point-to-point (P2P) measurement.

Step 1: Select Sloped Ceiling

Select the Sloped Ceiling option in the software.

Please choose the option below that matches your situation:

Option A: Full-Width Sloped Ceilings (use this if the slope spans the entire width of the wall)

Step 2: Measure the points

Measure all the points one after the other as shown in yellow on the diagram. As soon as a yellow point has been successfully measured, it will turn green.

  • 1. Left side of the slope: Measure approx. 10–30 cm away from the wall corner.

  • 2. Right side of the slope: Measure approx. 10–30 cm away from the wall corner.

  • 3. At the wall-to-slope seam: Measure at the exact height where the slope meets the vertical wall.

    Step 3: Complete the measurement

Once all points have turned green, click OK ✅.

Option B: Partial sloped ceiling (use this if the slope only covers part of the wall)

(Sloped ceilings that do NOT span the entire width of the wall)

Step 2: Select the side limit

If the slope ends before reaching the wall corner on the left and/or right side, select the corresponding "Left Limit" or "Right Limit" option in the software.

Step 3: Measure the boundary

If "Left Limit" is activated, measure a point directly along the outer left edge of the sloped ceiling. This defines exactly where the slope ends.

If "Right Limit" is activated, measure a point directly along the outer right edge of the sloped ceiling. This defines exactly where the slope ends.

Step 4: Measure the remaining points

Measure points two and three exactly as you would for a full-width sloped ceiling:

Point 2: Measure approx. 10–30 cm away from the right wall corner (if right limit activated- measure the left side).

Point 3: Measure right along the seam where the vertical wall meets the sloped ceiling.

Example of a partial sloped ceiling with left limit:

Step 5: Complete the measurement

Once all points have turned green, click OK ✅.
