Memory Dump file is usually requested/needed when the program does not work as expected e.g. it is not closing, becomes unresponsive.

How to create an ARES Commander Memory Dump file (Windows)

To create the needed memory dump file, please follow the step by step guide below:

  • Open ARES Commander

  • Open the Task Manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL , or type Task Manager in the Windows Search Bar)

  • Right click on the App - ARES Commander

  • Select create memory dump file on the context menu (screenshot)

  • Open the folder containing the ARESC.DMP

  • Save it on a cloud drive which allows you to share it
