ARES Electrical now warns you when exporting a library folder if any linked items — such as accessories, contacts, or terminal levels — are located outside the selected folder and would be left out of the resulting AEPack file.
Previously, these linked items were silently excluded from the export, with no indication that anything was missing until the package was imported elsewhere and something didn't work as expected.
How It Works
Right-click the folder you want to export in the Components or Catalog Parts palette and choose Export...
After the export completes, a summary dialog confirms which items were exported successfully.
If any linked accessories, contacts, or terminal levels were excluded because they live in a different folder, they're now listed by name in the same dialog.
You can decide whether to re-export with the additional folders included or share the package as-is.
This makes it easy to catch incomplete exports before sharing a package, instead of discovering the gap only after it's imported elsewhere.
