The Budget Import Tool's file picker now opens directly at the correct default folder, and includes a sample file so you know exactly what format to expect.
Previously, clicking the "..." button to select a file didn't take you to the right location, requiring manual navigation every time. That's no longer necessary.
How It Works
Clicking the "..." button in the Budget Import Tool now opens the file picker directly at:
AppData\Roaming\ARES Electrical x64\<build version>\Template\Import Tools
A sample file, Import Budget.txt, is included in that folder as a reference for the expected file format.
Use the sample file as a starting point when preparing your own budget import file.
💡TIP: You can also access the Budget Import Tool directly by running the AEIMPBUDGET command.
