In many situations, users need to create different pages to be associated with the Page Groups configured in the Page Groups command. This feature helps organize the project structure and ensures that each group is represented correctly in the graphics area.
Accessing the Page Groups Menu
To create or manage Page Groups:
Go to the Manage tab.
Open Page Groups... under the Settings section.
Within this menu, users can:
Create new pages,
Create new page groups,
Edit existing pages and groups,
Delete groups or pages as needed.
Editing a Page Group
When editing a Page Group, several configuration options become available.
1. Group Properties
After selecting a Page Group, the first section displays the group’s main configuration options. Here, you can define:
Group Name – how the group will appear in the project structure;
Numbering Order – the sequence in which the group appears in the project;
Starting Page Number – the first number assigned to pages within this group.
These settings help maintain an organized and consistent hierarchy in projects.
Assigning the Representative Page
Within the same dialog, you can define which page will serve as the representative page for this Page Group in the graphics area.
In the next section, listing the pages can be associated with the group:
A dropdown menu displays all pages that can be set to the group.
Select the page that should represent the group visually in the graphics area.
This selected page will appear every time the Page Group is referenced or accessed during the project workflow.
